Welcome to the Cotton Patch Blog

Welcome Everyone!
Let me start by introducing myself, my name is Doni Butzin and live in Tawas, Michigan. I've been married to my best friend, Mike, for 25 yrs and have two daughters, Melissa & Heidi, and two step-sons, Michael & Tony. We have 7 1/2 grandchildren with the 1/2 coming in May!! We live in the country which I totally love, a great place to unwind after a long day. We have three dogs, Jaden, Annie & Pepper which we adore!
I've owned the Cotton Patch Quilt Shoppe going on 12 years now and Love It! My interest is in Country/Folkart/Primitive. I love working with flannels and wools! They are both so forgiving!
I hope that you will share with me your love of quilting, your lives and whatever you'd like to share with us! Please post whenever you'd like, we'd love to hear from you!

I visited your shop this weekend with friends who spend their summer in your area. Loved your wonderful shop and the very gracious and helpful ladies who were working. It was a fun experience and definitely will be a stop on my next visit to your area
